POSTER 08 TITLE: Pharmacologic Approaches to the Management of Persistent Pulmonary Hypertension in the Newborn
Megan Crain, MSN, RN

Megan Crain is a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner student at the ECU College of Nursing. She has 15 years of RN experience, receiving her BSN from the University of Texas at Arlington and MSN at the University of South Carolina.
For 13 years, Megan has worked in the level III NICU of Prisma Health Richland in Columbia, SC. In this unit, she is a staff nurse, unit preceptor, charge nurse, and an ECMO specialist.
Megan and her husband, Mark, have two children: Olivia (6) and Caleb (3). Megan loves to read, go to the beach, and spend time with family and friends. Her favorite part about the NICU is the miracles; she believes it is truly an honor to watch a baby beat all the odds science put against them.

Trey Poston is a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner student at the ECU College of Nursing. Trey has been an RN for 12 years and completed his BSN at Francis Marion University in 2013. Trey has 10 years of experience in the level III McLeod Regional Medical Center NICU of Florence, SC, where he is a staff nurse, unit preceptor, and charge nurse. He has also been active on the patient transport team for five years.
Trey and his wife, Brooke, have two sons: Jack (6) and Bennett (4). When he isn’t working, Trey enjoys reading and spending time with his family. His favorite part of NICU nursing is helping fathers feel validated and involved in their infant’s care.
