AI technologies are rapidly appearing in many areas of healthcare, including the NICU. During this session you will learn how AI works, how it is being used in research and clinical applications in the NICU, potential pitfalls, and exciting future possibilities. Apply what you learned in the AI introductory course during this interactive workshop. Participants will gain skills in using large language models (e.g., ChatGPT), "Big Data" analysis using web-based and computer tools, and an introduction to Epic Slicer Dicer to access clinical insights from your own data. No prior experience with AI or computer programming is needed. Participants should download a package of sample data in advance of the session. (1.5 CEU)
