Jessica Gomez
Dr. Jessica Gomez is the Advanced Practice Provider Education and Research Coordinator for UTHealth in Houston TX.
She received her BSN from the University of Minnesota, her MSN from the University of Texas Medical Branch, and her Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Houston.
Dr. Gomez has been in the NICU since 2009 and an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant since 2011. She was the UT NNP of the year in 2022 and a Sigma rising star in nursing research in 2023.
Additionally, she received the Florida Association of NNP research grant to fund her dissertation research that she will present today titled The Feasibility and Measurement of Frequent Bedside Pumping in the NICU.
