Leslie Parker
Dr. Leslie Parker is the Associate Dean for Research and Scholarship and Professor at the University of Florida College of Nursing She is also an adjunct Professor in the College of Medicine.
She has had an active practice as a nurse practitioner in the NICU at UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital for the last 30 years where she cares for critically ill infants and their families.
Leslie’s research has been funded by the National Institutes of Health and the Gerber Foundation and focuses on optimal delivery of nutrition and increasing infant consumption of mother’s own milk by improving lactation success in their mothers.
Leslie has been a member of FANNP since the 1990s and has been active in its leadership including president from 2014 to 2016.
